Vaultilo is an open-source encryption password manager that not only stores passwords but also unique/crypto-wallets & nodes. The decentralized system reduces the risk of losing your passwords and encryption makes it secure too. Vaultilo’s simplified user interface makes a great experience for the user’s day to day interactions.

Vaultilo - Password manager for crypto credentials

Vaultilo is based on the Blockstack ecosystem. Blockstack is a full-stack decentralized computing network that returns digital rights to developers and consumers and also allows users to own their data that they can take with them from app to app in the ecosystem. Also with their Blockstack ID, it eliminates the need for password-based logins.

In Vaultilo, users control their data, not the application developer as the user’s data are stored in “Gaia Hub”. Gaia Hub is a decentralized high storage system where data are encrypted using a user’s public key and can only be decrypted using the user’s private key. This way even the storage provider cannot access the user’s data. As for dApps, they can read/write data to Gaia Hub only when the user allows it. Users can also store their data on their computer or with a commercial cloud storage provider of their preferences.

Vaultilo is a decentralized Password manager app which allows to:

  • Crypto credentials

The feature that separates Vaultilo from other Password Manager is its ability to save crypto wallets. With the rise of Blockchain, many people are using crypto wallets to hold Cryptocurrencies. Generally, such wallets require Password, Mnemonics and Private keys for a user to login. Vaultilo can be used to store credentials for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, ICON, and many other crypto wallets.

There have been many cases where users lose credentials rendering those wallets useless. Vaultilo allows users to save Wallets along with their mnemonics, and privates keys access them with a single master password.

  • Passwords

Vaultilo allows users to save websites passwords and autofill them automatically on sites with the help of an extension. In addition to this, Vaultilo randomly generates strong passwords when filling a form. Another feature of Vaultilo checks the strength of the password used.

  • Notes

The next feature of Vaultilo is saving notes of users. Some notes might be very important for the users, so Vaultilo provides the feature to save such notes in an encrypted form.
